On Thursday morning, the authorities of the Provincial Program of Incentives for Distributed Energy Generation (PROINGED) gave definitions about the Private Contest PROINGED 06/2018, where the construction of 21 small solar parks is disputed – from 200 to 500 kW- in the Province of Buenos Aires.
According to sources reported to Energía Estratégica Argentina, 15 projects were awarded to 14 companies, despite the fact that 45 bidders had submitted. However, it is a “first stage” of selection. The rest of the offers continue to be analyzed.
The company ALDAR S.A. was awarded 2 solar parks, since “it presented the best general price with respect to all the parks”, they assure from PROINGED. The remaining 13 parks were awarded to different bidders, according to the technical/economic evaluation ranking of each park.

As for the selection process, the authorities assure that it was carried out in the same way as in previous competitions.
The PROINGED Operational Coordination Unit (UCOP), made up of representatives of the Regional Electric Forum (FREBA) and the Ministry of Infrastructure of the province of Buenos Aires, opted to diversify the award, promoting the participation of a greater number of companies, and with This, a greater development of the market, whose offers were adjusted to the lowest value offered (without VAT), they explain.

Con esta selección, se instalará una nueva potencia solar fotovoltaica de pequeña escala por un total de 5,1 MWp, que se suman a los 2,9 MWp ya instalados por el PROINGED en energía fotovoltaica, totalizando 8 MWp instalados. Se estima que estos parques tendrán una generación de energía limpia de 12 GWh/año que colaborará con el mejoramiento de la matriz energética provincial.
Cabe destacar que el período de adjudicación de la licitación se demoró –estaba previsto que se defina el lunes de la semana pasada- a causa de un largo proceso de evaluación técnica, económica-contable y jurídica que incluyó el análisis de unas 650 variantes, explican desde el PROINGED.
