Today, the Mayor of Gualeguaychú, Martín Piaggio, together with directors from Intermepro, will proceed to start up the 50.2 kWp photovoltaic solar park, located in the facilities of the Obras Sanitarias drinking water production plant, located in the intersection of streets 2 de Abril and Puerto Argentino of the city.
“The park is an initiative of the Municipality of Gualeguaychú, which carried out a public tender with the Intermepro company responsible for the work for presenting the best technical and commercial offer,” highlights Adrián Kolonski, president of the winning company.
The work contemplated an investment amount of 2,680,000 pesos (about 58,000 dollars) and the construction time was 70 days including civil works, assembly and start-up, says the head of Intermepro.
For its construction, GCL 330 Wp solar panels and a Schneider Electric Conext CL 60 inverter with a maximum output power of 66kva were used.
The photovoltaic field is made up of 152 modules configured in 8 parallel chains of 19 modules in series each. The surface of the receiving plane is calculated at 295 m2.
“This initiative of the Municipality will generate multiple benefits for the entire community of Gualeguaychú due to the possibility of having photovoltaic solar energy in the park, which will benefit the care of the environment in the town,” Kolonski highlights.
