After being awarded small-scale projects around the country, the company is preparing new renewable generation ventures. In addition, it aspires to exceed 25% market share in products for the sector, representing brands such as Schneider Electric, GCL, Betta Bateries and Tigo.
With more than 28 renewable projects underway, Intermepro advances in the Argentine market. Among those facilities, 5 belong to the municipal and provincial spheres, and the rest are corporate.
Firms such as YPF, Coca Cola, IRSA, La Segunda and La Caja de Ahorro y Seguro have already chosen this company for sustainable generation and air conditioning work in branches and other dependencies, covering a total of 12 provinces.
Now, with clear expansion plans, Intermepro proposes its own large-scale developments and increases in its market share as a company that integrates energy solutions, service provider and supplier of renewable energy equipment.
“We have our own 300-megawatt ready-to-build project for RenovAr 4 and we are already negotiating with several leading firms in this regard,” Gonzalo Luoni, Intermepro’s commercial director for LATAM, announced exclusively to this medium.
“In addition, we are attentive to be able to quote the components of which we are exclusive representatives”, added the businessman.
It should be remembered that Intermepro has a broad “ecosystem” of top-tier electricity companies with which it has exclusive representation agreements in Argentina and other key strategic alliances with international suppliers in the solar sector.
“We have to add a product sales volume of around 4MW in Schneider Electric inverters and GCL panels in Argentina, a figure similar to the one we have awarded this 2019 in generation projects in public areas, corporate projects of our own management and third-party projects” , the commercial director of Intermepro for LATAM told Energía Estratégica Argentina.
Hence, as a representative of international suppliers, it sets goals to exceed its current market share.
“We aim for a 25% market share floor in products such as Schneider Electric inverters, GCL solar panels, Betta Bateries batteries and Tigo control boxes.”
The intention of the company would be not only to offer top-of-the-line products with the backing of major international brands, but also to offer the best prices per installed watt in the market.
For this reason, facing MiniRen, Intermepro evaluates alternatives to be one of the major equipment suppliers for those bidders that are awarded and provide engineering support for new projects around the country.
On the other hand, distributed generation also arouses the interest of the company. Intermepro works on the development of its own network of more than 25 distributors and a wholesaler such as Solution Box, including provincial or regional energy distribution companies.
In relation to this, it is key for the company to advance on financing agreements with large banks. “In the latter case, in the coming weeks we will be making an announcement of enormous importance and innovation for the market,” said Gonzalo Luoni, Intermepro’s commercial director for LATAM.
